New Year’s Eve can start early. At coast by east, the final day of the year begins at lunchtime – with good food, drinks and views across HafenCity. Whether you join us for a relaxed lunch, linger over drinks throughout the afternoon or settle in for dinner, our regular à la carte menu will be served on 31 December, complemented by a selection of special New Year’s Eve highlights.

 

New Year’s Eve at Home? Take coast with you.
If you prefer to celebrate the New Year at home, you don’t have to miss out on coast. Our New Year’s Eve Sushi and Veggie Boxes are available for collection on 31 December 2026 between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm.Please pre-order your Sushi Box by 12:00 noon on 30 December 2026 here (subject to availability).

From 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm, enjoy the final day of the year at coast. Alongside our regular à la carte selection, we have prepared a few special recommendations for the occasion:

 

• Lobster Roll – 27.5€

  Lobster meets tuna, garlic-ginger teriyaki and crispy sweet potato.
• Dashi Butter Scallop with Hazelnut – 28€

  Hokkaido scallop, seared on one side until crisp and served with dashi butter sauce in the shell.
• Oyster Bar – 32€ for 4 oysters

  For a particularly special New Year’s Eve treat, our live oyster bar takes centre stage. Fine de Claire oysters are freshly served with a choice of four toppings: mignonette sauce · sour cream, lime & fresh herbs · apple-cucumber vinaigrette · Rockefeller foam sauce.

 

 

After dinner comes the east New Year's Eve Ball!
After an enjoyable dinner at coast, nothing stands in the way of your party night at east! For just EUR 40 per person, you'll receive your entry wristband at coast with access to the fast lane. Taxis are available to take you directly to east.
